Melbourne will soon be taking part in an ecological city experiment known as the EBD. This is a proposed identity that includes a logo, advertisements, stationary. The key (which has been made out of the letters EBD) represents the opening of a new door, into a new way of life. My idea was to create posters that contained only minimal text and the proposed logo. This would hopefully get people familiar enough with the identity before actually finding out what the EBD was about. It also adds to the notion of the ‘hidden key’, and once the EBD was completed this key would be found.
