COVER / TITLE PAGE / CONTENTS PAGE / ARTICLE / TABLE OF STATISTICS

Treefold is an estate agency that focuses primarily on eco-friendly housing plans. This is conveyed throughout the annual report. For the photoshoot, I cut out tiny paper trees and used coloured toothpicks to represent the people. The model represents the company as a delicate giant that is trying not to destroy the earth that stands before her.

TIN / INTERIOR / BADGES / DUST JACKET / LOGO

This tin is based on Yoko Ono's Grapefruit. 'Badge Piece' is my own interpretation of one of her poems that requires the person who buys this tin to "Take this badge, give it to someone closest to you or furthest away, this badge is not yours to keep" - Autumn 2008.

POSTER / INVITES

This poster and invite advertise an upcoming exhibition called Peeking Under the Capricorn. This exhibit sets out to explore the undertones of Australian culture. I decided to look at the underground gang culture Australia once had through 1960s - 1980s. The notion of 'family' comes from the idea that everyone wants to belong to some form of group, and this is exactly what gangs did for these kids. Much like today, Australians were heavily influenced by America and Britain, but it was also the beginning of a new identity they were creating for themselves.

LOGO / BOX / ORDER CARD

Revolution Noodles is a company that specialise in organic ingredients and new-age style cooking. I was inspired by the female soldier in Roy Lichtenstein's 'Crak!' whilst making this logo, and continued the theme by using a very basic colour palette.

TYPE / ANIMATION

Bates Motel is a font inspired by the classic horror/thriller genre and was created from random bits of scrap wood found at the back of a hardware store. More coming soon!

Anonymous Gallery is an independently run graphic design gallery that specialise in exposing new Australian talent. The opening night was a three-dimensional poster exhibition that allowed graphic designers from all stages of their careers to enter a piece and be sold for the charity of their choice.

POSTER / BUSINESS CARDS / POST CARDS

Melbourne will soon be taking part in an ecological city experiment known as the EBD. This is a proposed identity that includes a logo, advertisements, and stationary. The key (which has been made out of the letters EBD) represents the opening of a door into a new way of life. My idea was to create posters that contained only minimal text and the proposed logo. This would hopefully get people familiar enough with the identity before actually finding out what the EBD was about. It also adds to the notion of the 'hidden key', and once the EBD was completed this key would be found.

PUBLICATION DESIGN

Me You are two books that document not only my day, but that of a friend of mine who is currently living in Venice. This is done through a series of photos and quotes that were recorded at certain times of the day.

PUBLICATION DESIGN

Am I There Yet? is an interactive poster for public transport users. The perforated lower half is to be torn off and read whilst the passenger waits for his or her train, tram or bus. The 6pt body copy is a long rant that takes the reader on a journey through my days of catching the bus to and from school, the incessant problems that face Melbourne's public transport system, and reasons as to why catching public transport is out of the question for me these days. That is, before I moved to London!
